Verify Terms of Use
Terms for the public verification surface at verify.attestlayer.com.
These terms govern use of verify.attestlayer.com only. Commercial purchases, partner programs, registry operations, and root-domain company pages are governed by their own site-specific terms or written agreements.
Service scope
Verify is a read-only utility that helps reviewers inspect AttestLayer-issued kits and public-safe verification materials. It is not a checkout surface, not a buyer console, and not a certification service.
- A PASS on Verify means the cryptographic materials presented to the verifier are internally consistent with AttestLayer's published trust material.
- Verify does not certify controls, provide legal advice, or replace a buyer's own diligence process.
- Verify does not guarantee that a submitter's underlying security posture is adequate for your use case.
Permitted use
- Use Verify only for lawful review, validation, and diligence activities.
- Do not attack, overload, scrape in a manner that degrades service, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not use Verify to misrepresent AttestLayer outputs, fabricate verification results, or imply a certification AttestLayer does not provide.
- You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to possess and review the materials you verify.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
Verify is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. AttestLayer may modify, suspend, rate-limit, or harden the service where needed for reliability, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or security.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AttestLayer disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of Verify. Any direct liability relating only to Verify is limited to the amount you paid for Verify itself during the 12 months before the claim, which is ordinarily zero because Verify is publicly accessible without a separate fee.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless a mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes relating only to Verify will be brought in Montreal, Quebec.
Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@attestlayer.com.
Verify is a public, read-only verification surface. It does not create a paid service relationship on its own.
